Albert joined Genscape in 2012 and is responsible for Platform Technology Strategy & Services. Albert leads a global team of highly seasoned technology architects and data scientists accountable for the design, planning, execution and evolution of the Genscape Product Platform, including the integration of proprietary field data acquisition systems, analytics and data publication systems. Previously, Albert was Global Head/SVP at Thomson Reuters (TR) where he was responsible for Technology Strategy. Albert also started the Zurich TR Product & Technology team based on his expertise in technology, process & methodology design that operationalizes the global ‘software factory’. Prior to TR, Albert spent nearly a decade in management consulting between Accenture’s Center for Strategic Technology (authored several award-winning white-papers & client deliveries), ZEFER Consulting (eBusiness clients including Amazon, Microsoft, Paul Allen & others) and Deloitte Consulting (doing M&A, eBusiness strategy and delivering the first engagement using Clayton Christensen’s Innovator’s Solution). Albert was on academic scholarship at Oxford where he completed his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering thereby solving problems and delivering solutions that are operating today in both commercial aerospace & defense industries. Albert also holds an Aerospace B.S. (Honors) from Syracuse University and is a member of Tau Beta Pi (eng) and Sigma Gamma Tau (aero).
