Martin Morgan

Martin was educated in South Africa and England, gaining a BA from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the London Business School.

Early in his career, he started a student travel company while working for the student movement in South Africa. After completing his MBA in London, he joined Reed International, working as the personal assistant to the deputy chairman before moving into the media division. He held a number of managing directorships, including those of Reed's travel and medical interests, and moved to the United States.

He returned to the UK to join the Daily Mail and General Trust plc as part of the group's initiative to diversify beyond the newspaper industry.

Following a period of rapid growth in his division, coupled with an investment emphasis on the United States, he has recently returned to that country to run the company from US headquarters.

Martin is married with three children and lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. He enjoys sailing, tennis, golf, and fishing.

Paul Sykes

Paul graduated with a BSc in economics from Leicester University. After graduating he joined KPMG and gained experience in auditing and other areas of finance while qualifying for membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Paul then joined Emap plc, initially in the role of financial controller of the media group's magazine distribution division, then moving into a central role to develop the group's treasury function. As group treasurer he had extensive involvement in a wide range of equity and debt fundraising transactions, as well as media-related acquisitions and divestments in the UK and continental Europe.

Paul joined DMG Information in 1997 and moved to the US in 2000, reflecting the investment emphasis on the US and the geographic spread of the businesses following several significant acquisitions.

He is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the UK Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Paul is married with three children and lives in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Martha Notaras

Martha received her BA from Princeton University and her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.

She gained experience in commercial banking at Credit Suisse. After completing her MBA, Martha joined the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch. She then moved to Time, Inc. in a strategic financial role.

Martha joined DMG Information in the UK. Upon returning to the US in 1995, she focused on developing the company's US-based portfolio. Her focus remains business development, including acquisitions and investments, as well as working with the portfolio companies to develop their businesses internally.

Martha is married with two children and lives in Pacific Palisades, California.
