Genscape is headquartered in Louisville, KY with offices in New York City, Washington D.C., Amsterdam, and London.

Genscape's Operations Department currently has an opening for a Field Installation Technician. The Technician will work directly with our Network Operations Director and Manager to support our nationwide network build-out and maintenance of EMF monitors. The primary responsibilities of the position include installing monitors near electric generating plants and conducting maintenance on previously installed monitors in the network. Specific duties include verification and documentation of transmission line location and layout, locating acceptable monitor sites, establishing relationships with landowners, monitor installation, and diagnostics and unit maintenance. The position requires extensive travel throughout the entire US.


Essential Job Functions

  • Field monitor installation and maintenance
  • Technical Troubleshooting
  • Communicating and negotiating easement agreements with private landowners
  • EXTENSIVE TRAVEL THOUGHOUT UNITED STATES

Qualifications

  • Must have Associates Degree.
  • The candidate should be motivated, conscientious, highly organized, comfortable, performing within deadlines, and able to communicate effectively.
  • The position requires a self-starter who is capable of working independently, and comfortable teaming up to work closely with other Logistics team members.
  • The position will require considerable travel and outdoor work.
  • Candidates must have a safe driving record and valid driver's license.

Requirements
