Genscape, Inc., with operations in the US and Europe, is the world's only provider of critical, real-time energy generation and transmission data. Utilizing proprietary algorithms, Genscape's technology provides accurate, real-time information about power plant usage, start-ups, and supply availability. The company's products enable both North American and European clients to develop and/or improve short-term trading strategies and optimization based on supply fundamentals, maximizing their competitive advantage while minimizing the risk associated with fluctuations in the power grid supply.

Genscape also provides an important historic data set that can be incorporated into analytical tools used for short and long-term price modeling. Recently Genscape has leveraged this data set to develop a suite of proprietary reports, targeted at traded markets for natural gas, coal, and emissions in the U.S. and Europe.
