LOUISVILLE, KY, Monday 7/4/2007 - Genscape Inc., the nation’s first and only supplier of real-time power plant output and transmission status information today, is announcing the launch of its Frequency Event Outage Service. “We are excited to bring even more valuable information to the U.S. power market with the launch of our Frequency Event Outage Service. Our goal is to monitor the entire grid with both our current Genscape North American Power Service and our Frequency Event Outage Service,” said Sean O’Leary, Genscape’s CEO and co-founder. “The Frequency Event Outage Service significantly increases the value of our current power products by giving our customers information on all sudden power plant trips in North America, with additional information available on those facilities we currently monitor, in a matter of seconds following the event.
