Genscape Presenting at the Kentucky Oil & Gas Association’s 77th Annual Meeting: Overview of the Current & Future State of the Gas Market

Next week, the Kentucky Oil & Gas Association (KOGA) will be hosting its 77th Annual Meeting at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. As an organization focused on providing energy information and with headquarters in Louisville, Genscape is committed to the growth and success of Kentucky’s oil and gas industry.

Genscape’s Senior Natural Gas Analyst, Andy Krebs, will be presenting on Thursday, June 20th on “Regional Energy Trends: Natural Gas Electricity Generation and Pipeline Transportation”. The presentation will focus on an overview of the factors affecting the gas market today and analysis for this summer. He will touch on production and its impact on regional prices, and then move into the future of transportation, generation fuel parities, and what to watch for in the 2013 gas market.

Andy Krebs brings 10 years of industry experience to Genscape from Koch Supply and Trading where he was a Financial Natural Gas Analyst for 4 years focusing on regional and macro level market fundamentals. His experience includes trading natural gas basis and NYMEX, economic storage modeling, regional supply and demand forecasting, weather correlated demand modeling, and analysis of probability/size of price movements. Before his role as an analyst for Koch Supply and Trading, Andy had built a successful physical book around firm and interruptible assets in the Rockies region for Koch. Prior to Koch Supply and Trading, Mr. Krebs traded and scheduled natural gas in the Gulf Coast and Midcontinent regions at Magnus, Concord and Enserco.

KOGA was formed to represent the interests of Kentucky's crude oil and natural gas industry and the independent crude oil and natural gas operators. The Association strives to promote, protect and advance the interests of the oil and gas industry.
