According to a recent Genscape pipeline intelligence report, the Permian Express pipeline is expected to begin operations in June of 2013. According to recent imagery, pumping stations from Wichita Falls to Wortham look ready for operations. No crews were observed on site during our most recent flight over the site on May 6.
The pipeline is expected to have an initial capacity of 90,000 bpd with the completion of Phase I. Capacity is expected to increase to 150,000 bpd by late 2013 or early 2014. Phase II is expected to carry an additional 200,000 bpd, which is currently in the development and marketing phase, sources indicate.

Capacity on the 26” southern portion of the West Texas Gulf (WTG) pipeline from Wortham to Nederland, TX, leased by Sunoco, is expected to increase by a minimum of 150,000 bpd to Nederland.
