A Review of this Week's Natural Gas Storage Injection in the East

Every Thursday our Natural Gas Basis Report provides a detailed review of the EIA's storage number. Here's a snippet from today's report that provides analyst commentary around storage injection in the east:

Injection in the east, similar to last week, showed that this year would likely be an analogue of 2011. Production increased by +0.2 bcf/d week-on-week. Imports into the East from the Producing region decreased by -0.5 bcf/d week-on-week while imports into the East from the West increased by +0.6 bcf/d. Canadian exports out of the East increased by +0.5 bcf/d. Demand from power plants decreased by -0.3 bcf/d week-on-week while industrial demand and res/com demand remained unchanged.
